What’s New and what’s Next in terms of technology, how would you prepare for these changes?

For what I have learned from my past experience and encounter of all technology there’s so many changed that have been made on it, and my preparation is I just study them again and learned how to adjust on them, nowadays most computer dominate in any area or field of work, specially in business, second is entertainment and third is school, and I think soon more hi-tech technology will be released in the next few years, this technology will be the next thing that will change the life of human raised.


New term of technology

What inventions will change our lives this year?

How about a revolutionary computer screen? Cars powered by hydrogen? Books we can read electronically? Better football helmets? More efficient buildings?

With the Consumer Electronics Show getting underway in Las Vegas, this seemed like the perfect time for a high-tech look-ahead to the new year.

High-definition TVs barely thicker than a credit card … a solar-powered charger for all your electronic gizmos … and global positioning systems, or GPS, are everywhere.

In the coming months, we'll start finding GPS in all kinds of gadgets, according to Lance Ulanoff, editor in chief at PC Magazine.

"Everyone gets lost," said Ulanoff. "And you can get lost far away and near your home. So you want every device you have, whether it's for the big trip or just while you're outside the office, to help you get where you need to go."

One of the most intriguing inventions is the media wall, which could completely change how we all relate to our computers. Whether you're exploring a map, or the human body. the media wall literally puts it at your fingertips.


Led Technology is next

Ever since blue LEDs appeared in the 1990s, a cascade of development and system evolution has advanced solid-state lighting to become a viable and prosperous technology foundation. Today, LED technology is used for general lighting in small and large venues; in the automotive market; and in video displays, roadside signs, and digital signage.

LEDs have come a long way in a short time. Dowling notes that the development of blue LEDs, and the subsequent creation of broadband white light by adding a phosphor coating, occurred in less than 20 years. “The first white LEDs were gray and dismal, and there were technology hurdles in how they were driven and controlled,” he says. “In 2000 to 2004, there was development in improving phosphors and the efficacy of blue LEDs, as well as packages for high-power light output. Since 2004, LEDs continue to improve at a pace that the industry is astonished by. Efficacy, light output, and quality are improving faster than we projected.”

Effect of Technological Changes


Air Pollution

Air pollution is a problem in Hong Kong, as we know from the air quality index reported every day. Air pollution has been a problem for many years. We can see from the killer fog in London, that the effects have been quite severe at times. During December 1952, a fog descended over London and is reported to have contained a dense poisonous gas which consisted of soft coal smoke, sulfur dioxide, and gasoline fumes trapped in a warm air mass. The poisonous gas killed many people. The ‘London Killer Fog’ led to a Clear Air Act being passed in U.K. some years later.

Acid Rain

Acid rain is a product of air pollution. Environmental damage from acid rain has been reported throughout northern Europe, North America and Africa.

Bad air

Acid rain occurs when too much exhaust from automobiles and emissions from factories are carried into the air.

Forming Acid in Clouds

The pollutants are combined with moisture in the air to form clouds with acids. These acidified clouds can travel great distances away from the industrialization centers before releasing the moisture.

Acid deposits do not mix

Particles in the clouds do not mix with the moisture and these clouds deposit particles as dry rain. The acid particles damage the soil and root systems.





Damaged lakes and forests and car paint as well

This can render the trees unable to support themselves in storms. Sparse foliage on the trees makes it difficult for trees to carry out photosynthesis efficiently. The acid disrupts the delicate balance of life in the lakes and can kill some living organisms.

Individuals are subject to unhealthy conditions, particularly in cities. In Hong Kong, mercury in the water has polluted the fish we eat. Individuals will want to blame industrialists. Industrialists do not feel that they are to blame. Society needs to fix the problem. It is a problem in many countries. Different countries will respond differently depending on their stage of economic development. More advanced countries with regard to economic development feel that they can be more strict. Less advanced countries feel that they should be concentrating more on economic conditions and jobs than on air quality. What can be done? The government can act on behalf of society to limit the emissions allowed by industry.

Some strategies use by the Philippine to address the skills shortage in advanced technology sectors is they conduct many seminars for those who want to add new in their skills, for those who are also skilled workers and want to learned more they joined the program, in the past few years Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo launch his program in technical course through the initiative of TESDA and by the help of the local government all over the Philippines.

Prominent book authors said that technology is the biggest contributor to climate change, in you capacity as an IT student, how would you address this global problem? Enumerate steps and actions to be taken.



Some gasses contribute green house effect that lead to climate change,
certain gases in the atmosphere behave like the glass on a greenhouse, allowing sunlight to enter, but blocking heat from escaping. Long-lived gases, remaining semi-permanently in the atmosphere, which it cause the air to turned hot, most expert study all about gasses that add and causes green house effect and according to some research this gasses are the following causing it.

Water vapor. The most abundant greenhouse gas, but importantly, it acts as a feedback to the climate. Water vapor increases as the Earth's atmosphere warms, but so does the possibility of clouds and precipitation, making these some of the most important feedback mechanisms to the greenhouse effect.
Carbon dioxide (CO2). A minor but very important component of the atmosphere, carbon dioxide is released through natural processes such as respiration and volcano eruptions and through human activities such as deforestation, land use changes, and burning fossil fuels. Humans have increased atmospheric CO2 concentration by a third since the Industrial Revolution began. This is the most important long-lived "forcing" of climate change.
Methane. A hydrocarbon gas produced both through natural sources and human activities, including the decomposition of wastes in landfills, agriculture, and especially rice cultivation, as well as ruminant digestion and manure management associated with domestic livestock. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, methane is a far more active greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but also one which is much less abundant in the atmosphere.
Nitrous oxide. A powerful greenhouse gas produced by soil cultivation practices, especially the use of commercial and organic fertilizers, fossil fuel combustion, nitric acid production, and biomass burning.


Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). Synthetic compounds of entirely of industrial origin used in a number of applications, but now largely regulated in production and release to the atmosphere by international agreement for their ability to contribute to destruction of the ozone layer. They are also greenhouse gases.


Because also of burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil, it increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide, it also destroy the ozone layer, This happens because the coal or oil burning process combines carbon with oxygen in the air to make carbon dioxide. to a lesser extent, illegal logging also and putting industry, and other human activities have increased concentrations of greenhouse gases, the big factory blows big black smoke that goes directly to the ozone layer and some are passing human being and making them sick.


Steps on how to Prevent Global Warming

1. Plant trees in mountains or in you house to help our air to be cleaned

2. Don’t use any motor vehicle if u just only goes to in a near place to stop
adding black smoke that destroys the ozone layer.

3. Don’t throw any where your chemicals like water of the battery so it
Win mixed with the water that kill some trees

4. Instead of throwing plastic, keep it and use for another purposes to stop
flooding.

5. Avoid burning plastic, coils and oils because it destroy ozone layer and
It also causes damage to your health if I smell it.

Rocket Luncher
The RPG has its roots in the 19th century, with the early development of the explosive shaped charge. The development of practical rocketry provided a means of delivering such an explosive. Research, occasioned by World War II, produced such weapons as the famous American bazooka, and German Panzer Faust, which combined portability with effectiveness against armoured vehicles such as tanks.
The Soviet Union-developed RPG-7 is the most widely distributed and used RPG in the world The Soviets developed the basic design of this RPG, in the form of the RPG-2, during World War II, combining important design features of the US Bazooka and the German Panzer Faust.

German spaced armour
An early method of defeating shaped charges developed during World War II was to fit wire mesh 10 cm or more away from the armour of an armoured fighting vehicle (AFV). Shaped charges rely on the formation of a jet of superheated copper melt to cut through armour. The mesh would trigger the RPG on contact and much of the jet that a shaped charge produces would be dissipated before coming into contact with the main armour of the AFV. Caged armour is still in use. Similar effects can be obtained using spaced armour either as a part of the original design or as appliqué armour fitted at a later date.
Today, technologically advanced armies have implemented composite armours such as Chobham armor on their tanks that protect against RPGs. Older models of tanks may be retrofitted with reactive armour that functions by causing a small explosion to blow away the molten copper used in most shaped charges.
As in all arms races, these developments in armour counter measures have led to the development of RPG rounds designed specifically to defeat these counter measures, such as those fired from the RPG-29 Vampir, a Russian man portable, shoulder fired anti-tank grenade launcher.

Because of many wars and battle the inventor makes new rocket launcher that is more dangerous and more powerful and advance. Some rocket launcher now are design to destroy specific things. Like hitting a building, destroy a country, kill all living thing in an area. This missiles also design in wars, in early ages only canons are used as messile like weapon that is use to attack long range enemies
